Bing = More Than A Year Old Now

Bing, Microsoft’s search engine (or, rather, decision engine) turned 1 at the end of May.

Here’s a piece from ComputerWorld that sings the praises of Microsoft’s search strategy as well as challenge to Google.

(Note: The ComputerWorld article cites April 2010 search statistics from Hitwise, which report that Google still dominates; in fact, Google accounted for 71% of Internet searches in April 2010.)

Bing has received positive attention for its travel search, shopping search, maps, and visual search.

Be sure to add the Bing blog to your RSS reader.

If you are a newbie to Bing, definitely take the tour.
